Cusco City tour

We will stop by your respective hotel 15 minutes before the established time, to pick you up and thus go to the meeting point and begin our tour of the city of Cusco, where we will discover the following attractions:

• Catedral de la Ciudad de Cusco: where we will appreciate imposing paintings from the Cusco school, the art in wood carving reflected in each of its altars.
• Qoricancha: Also known as the Temple of the Sun, it was the most important Inca religious construction. Inside this temple, we can appreciate the mix between Inca-style architecture and the new styles brought by the Spanish.

• Sacsayhuaman: whose translation into Spanish is Puma’s Head, is the largest archaeological area within Cusco itself, known for its gigantic stone blocks that sometimes weigh more than 100 tons.
• Qenqo: It was the ancient site of mummification, it is not ruled out that it would have served as a royal mausoleum upon the death of the ninth Inca ruler Pachacutec.
• Bosque de eucalyptus de Qenqo: Let yourself be enveloped by the aroma and natural mysticism that these trees emit.
• Puka pukara: popularly known as the red fortress, due to the pigmentation It has the rocks with which it was built, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Andean landscape.
• Tambomachay: Popularly called the Temple of Water, its greatest attraction is the water sources distributed in 2 falls which come from underground leaks.
