Description
Depending on the location of your hotel, we will pick you up between 06:30 am to 06:45 am, with our tourist transportation in the company of our guide and we will begin our journey to the sacred valley of the Incas, where we will know the following attractions:
- Chinchero arqueológico: Popularly known as the old palace of Túpac Inca Yupanqui, you can see the mix between Inca and Spanish architecture.
- Chinchero textil: You will enter a textile workshop where local women will talk to you and demonstrate through a very didactic process how ancient hand-weaving and dyeing techniques are preserved to this day.
- Moray: well known for having an interesting set of circular terraces, which makes this place unique.
- Maras salt mines: an impressive view of more than 3,000 pools where salt of non-marine origin is processed, this is where the famous pink salt of Maras comes from, unique in all of Peru.
- Urubamba: It is the most popular province and district of the Sacred Valley. We will have approximately one hour to enjoy our buffet lunch (see restaurant category).
- Ollantaytambo Fortress: It is one of the most impressive buildings of Inca origin, it stands out because in the upper part of it is the so-called Temple to the Sun.
- Pisaq archeological zone: known for its large set of semicircular terraces and its large cemetery of hanging tombs, popularly considered one of the largest in America.
- Pisaq orfebre zone: You will have the opportunity to enter a goldsmith’s workshop where a master goldsmith will teach you to recognize the various types of metals and precious stones through a very didactic explanation.
